Local Walks
Charles Darwins Walk in Wentworth Falls is my favourite walk. Great for all ages along Fletchers Creek to the Falls of Wentworth Falls. Around a 1.5 – 2 hour round trip. For the fitness minded, I might suggest walking into town as a nice warm up.
Easy to find. the walk begins in the park behind the Wentworth Falls Bowling Club on the Highway. If you walk towards the tennis courts you will see it sign posted and there, a magical walk begins…
Winter Magic – June Every Winter.
The Winter Magic Festival happens every year in June around the Winter Solstice. A mass of people pour from their homes to mingle, munch and shop. With the ever spectacular Parade setting the festive mood high mid morning. The weather is rarely disappointing. God, must indeed, also enjoy a parade.
So make sure you book that weekend well in advance to avoid missing out.
